Harvey Farms

In the registered cattle business for more than 25 years, John and Laura Harvey initially began their herd with the Limousin breed. After much success with Limousin cattle, ten years ago Harvey Farms ventured into the registered Angus business.

They dispersed their herd of Limousins and begun to purchase their foundation herd of Angus cattle. Harvey Farms quietly built their herd of Angus cattle from the top producers at that time - Hyline Angus (Manhattan, MT), Gardiner Angus (Ashland, KS), Sitz Angus Ranch (Harrison, MT), Sherrod Farms (Oneonta, AL), and E E Ranches (Winona, MS).

Over the years, they’ve used proven AI sires to complement individual cows and embryo transfer on some of their very best cattle. The goal at Harvey Farms is to raise cattle that are sound and solid, and produce top-performing Angus.

Visit their web site to see the sires and females they have available. Also, be sure and check out their upcoming events, including the Mississippi Angus Association Field Day in August.
