Livestock Motivational Posters

As you have noticed, each Wednesday we post a new livestock motivational graphic on our facebook page, and week after week everyone seems to love them. We have gotten many requests to make these in a poster format. So guess what, we did.

The posters are available for $7.99 each or you can buy a pack of 7 posters for $29.99 each. These posters are 11 x 17, poster weight, and coated in gloss laminate. They would be awesome for room decorations, bulletin boards, classroom decorations for ag chapters, Extension office decorations, and more.

We have made available all of the graphics we have done so far, and will be adding more weekly. So check them out at http://ranchhousedesigns.mybigcommerce.com/categories.php?category=Posters!

Graduation is in the Air!

For the past few days, we have been cranking out lots of senior graduation invitations, with nearly 1 invitation order coming in each day! It is so fun to design these invites for the great seniors in Wharton county! Here are a few of our recent designs. This month we have done invites for graduating seniors in Wharton High School, Faith Christian Academy, Boling High School, and East Bernard High School.

Here is a double sided design for East Bernard senior Drew Vincek:

Another double sided metallic invitation for the seniors of Faith Christian Academy in Wharton.

And finally, a double sided special shape metallic invite for Lauren Hlavinka of East Bernard High School.

It's not too late to get your special senior invites ordered. Give us a call at 979-532-9141 if we can help!

Brandi and Matt are getting hitched!

With only 38 days until Brandi becomes a Karisch, we can no longer contain our excitement for the April 14th!! As many of you may know, Matt Karisch was the herdsman at V8 for many years. He has always been nothing short of wonderful to everyone and anyone he came into contact with, so it's no surprise that when he met a great gal like Brandi, the two hit it off immediately! To know these two is to know one of the most joyful, loving and fun couples in the cattle industry. Now that Brandi - oh, I mean Dr. Bourg - has taken a job as a professor and beef specialist at Mississippi State University, we do not get to see them all that much. However, this has only added to our excitement for the big day! When they asked RHD to design their wedding save the dates and invites, we were even more excited!!! Check them out....

We are so excited to watch two of our wonderful friends start their lives together! There is certainly no other couple more deserving of happily ever after than Brandi and Matt! Best of luck you two!! See you on April 14th!

Rhinestone Gala gone gorgeous!

Earlier this month, Faith Christian Academy held an event fit for the stars; the inaugural Rhinestone Cowboy Gala. This night was a charitable fundraising event for FCA. We were lucky enough to be asked to handle the graphic design and web design and promotion for this event. We have been working with FCA on their site, and what better way to tie everything together? RHD handled the Gala website, online ticket ordering, gig posters, invitations, programs, and much more.

But we didn't stop at promo materials, we also had a table at the event in which we invited some of our closest friend. Attendants included Bob and Vanessa Hudgins, Jim and Luann Williams, Harry and Sarah Goudeau, Brandon Cutrer, Kolton Thigpen and Gene and Sammie Johnston.

The evening was a huge success and we would like to thank the FCA crew for letting us be a part of it!!

Tag the Date!

Lately we have had the wonderful task of designing save the dates and wedding invites for some of our favorite couples. We are always so honored to play even a small part in their special day that we have to share it with everyone! The save the dates we did for RHD Rep, Cassie Link, were no exception. I warn you - all soon to be brides involved with the cattle industry, prepare to be jealous!!!

How great are these?? Such an awesome idea and such a wonderful couple!!! It is most definitely one of the perks to our job!

If you are interested in getting your own set of custom designed invites, cards or "tag the dates", please contact one of our project managers, tricia@ranchhousedesigns.com or joelynn@ranchhousedesigns.com. We would love to help you with your special day!!

Christmas Cards

If you read yesterday's post, you noticed we were saying how suprising it is that we've already been working on Denver bull banners for this year. Well, another one of those things that's quickly sneaking upon us is CHRISTMAS!

For the past several years we have done a ton of custom Christmas cards for our friends both in Wharton and for many of our club calf friends nationwide. One of our subsidiary businesses is Ranch House Invitations, in which we offer cards, party invitations, graduation invitations, shower invites, wedding invitations, save the dates, and much more.

We can work with you in a variety of ways. First, for the most affordable option, you can upload your own photos and order instantly online through our 2 catalog affiliations available here. You can have your photos ready, choose your design, upload, and order. It's easy and still very customizable.

The next option is to have RHD design your Christmas card from scratch. This option is a bit more expensive (averages about $2.50 per card) but gives you a ton of options like specialty cutout shapes, metallic finish, and more. For this option, just email us your photos and we will get to work on a custom design. For our clients in the Wharton area, we are happy to recommend any of our very talented local area photographers, or get one of our 2 staff photographers (Stacey or Joelynn) to take your photos for you for a small additional fee.

Here are a few examples of our cards from last year....

This was Rachel & Brandon's card, it was a custom design (of course with a Brahman on it) and was a 5x7 flat card with the shimmer finish.

The best card of the Wharton area for 2010!! This was the Gertson family card and it was a 5x5 tri-fold card. It included a shimmer finish, and we also did the family photography for this card.

Here's one we did for the Hoskins family of Beeville. They were running a little late, so they opted for a Happy New Year card.

The Locke family of Wharton used a 5x7 folded card so they could include a letter and recap from 2010. This was a great design that featured bragging rights on all of their wonderful grandkids.

John and Salina Locke of Wharton also sent out a 5x7 flat card with the shimmer finish. This card featured a custom poem written by John's sisters to announce the birth of their daughter in conjunction with their holiday card.

Another awesome design for 2010. This was Stacey's family card and it featured a 5x5 square design with a special scalloped cutout shape and shimmer metallic finish.

While this one is more ranchy, here's a custom card we created for the Scarmardo's to send out to their cattle industry clients. We can easily work up custom designs for any design preference. It doesn't always have to be red and green!

1st Birthday Party Invitations

These little boogers were so cute we just couldn't resist posting them! Here is our latest creation from Ranch House Invitations. These are custom party invitations for special little girls' 1st birthday party.

For this project, Lyndsey's mom came in to our office with her idea for the movie star theme, the cute wordig for the cards, and the pictures of her darling little Lyndsey to go on the card. We sat down together and created this custom design that is simply stunning!

To make the invitations extra special, Lindsey's mom chose a special shape, and added a "shimmer" finish to give the card a metallic look.

When it was all said and done, these cards cost around $2 each.....making a very affordable way to give your child's party that special unique touch.

Our invitation division handles all kinds of invites and announcements. We can do wedding invitations, party invitations, graduation invitations, and Christmas cards. We can even take your photos for the cards if needed (if you live around here!)

Check out http://www.ranchhouseinvitations.com/ for more of our custom and catalog designs.

Baby Shower Invitations

Looking at these really gets me in the mood for having a baby shower!!! Or, that I lived a double life as an event planner and got to pick out cute invitations for all kinds of parties as my day job. Since me and Brandon's baby shower is coming up later in the spring, I have been stalking our Tiny Prints catalog for Unique Baby Shower Invitations and I'll admit you can spend hours on there!

Here are a few of my favorites....

Vintage Woodcut

Dark Gray Baby Girl

And, I can't help but saying this. I'm pregnant now, and I certainly don't look like the lady on this card. How does she keep her legs so skinny!!! And really, who has a name like Charlotte Buckingham.

Shower and Party Invitations

Lately at the RHD office we've been in the real party mood. Wait, I wouldn't say that is "lately", I'd say it's been since we got our new office. We're always looking for a reason to have a party. Last month we had an office baby shower for Carole.  In January, we're all looking forward to Kinleigh's 1st birthday party, and later in the spring a baby shower for me (Rachel).

Okay so if you're into parties, stuff like this can get you pretty wrapped up in creating a fun invitation. It seems like the possibilities for these invitations are endless. For Kinleigh's party, we created a custom birthday card invitation. But, here are a few 1st birthday party invitations from our catalog of Tiny Prints, and I couldn't help but post some favorites.
